People on paper: Personas, Roles, and Goals
- Characteristics: Provide ther persona’s reason for using the existing and/or new product and a few workds about what the persona’s values are or what he values most.
- Use: Capture the persona’s technical ability, familiarity with technology, and frequency of use.
- Goals: List persona’s goals, what he wants to achieve using your product.
- Current pains: List reasons why trying to fulfill these goals is painful today, maybe using something other than your system.
- Needs, wants, and desires: Both the pains and the needs and desires will suggest opportunities for your product.
- Scenario: Think about the trigger, the reason why he will be attracted to your product or service and what will drive him into action with it.
